Details: The Frederick Douglass Freedom Alliance (FDFA) will host a special brunch to honor the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. The event will feature a keynote address by Dr. Alveda King, niece of Dr. King and a member of FDFA, who will discuss Dr. King’s vision and its relevance today.
FDFA will also present the Freedom Award to four leaders who embody the values of liberty, justice, and civic engagement championed by Dr. King and Frederick Douglass. Each honoree has demonstrated a steadfast commitment to advancing freedom and the dignity of the human spirit, reflecting FDFA’s belief that freedom is a gift from God that cannot be taken by man.
Attendees will enjoy a full brunch while connecting with like-minded individuals and reflecting on Dr. King’s enduring impact.
